Terms and Conditions
Reservations
Reservations are only valid if made by phone, via email at info@casabellazihua.com, or WhatsApp. Reservations are accepted exclusively through these three methods.
To confirm a reservation, a deposit is required:
- One night’s rate for reservations of four nights or less
- Two nights’ rate for reservations of five nights or more
Once the bank or payment details are provided, guests will have 24 hours to complete the deposit. If the deposit is not received within this period, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
The remaining balance is due upon arrival.
Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods include:
- Bank deposit
- Bank transfer
- PayPal: (a 3.5% processing fee applies to PayPal transactions)
Payment details will be provided once the reservation request is made. All payments must be made in [USD/MXN].
Rates
Rates are subject to change without prior notice for future bookings. Confirmed reservations will honor the rate agreed upon at time of booking.
Rates are based on 2 guests for the studio aparments and 4 guests for the doble apartment. Additional guests may incur extra charges of 300 pesos or 18 us dollars per person per night, the maximum occupancy for the studio is 3 people and for the doble apaartment is 6 people.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made at least 30 days before the arrival date: The full deposit will be converted to a credit for a future reservation
- Cancellations made between 30 and 10 days before the arrival date: 50% of the deposit will be converted to a credit for a future reservation
- Cancellations made 10 days or less before the arrival date: The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable
Reservation credits:
- Must be used within 12 months of the original cancellation date
- May be transferable to other parties
- Are subject to availability and current rates at time of rebooking
- Cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts
- Any rate difference for the new reservation must be paid at time of rebooking
No-shows will loose the full deposit amount.
Occupancy
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests per studio unit and 4 guests per doble apartment. Exceeding maximum occupancy may result in additional charges or immediate cancellation without refund. Visitors must be approved in advance and may not stay overnight.
Pets
Unfortunately, we no longer allow pets on the premises, as this has affected other guests’ privacy and comfort in the past. Thank you for your understanding. Unauthorized pets will result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund and a cleaning fee of $1,000 pesos or $55 US dollars.
Room Arrival
Your accommodation will be available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time. However, you are welcome to drop off your bags and use the common areas in the meantime until your apartment is ready.
Late Arrival Procedure
Please contact us to let us know if you will be arriving later than 9:00 PM.Check-in after 9:00 pm may not be possible without prior arrangement.
Room Departure
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. If you need an extra hour, please let us know, and we will inform you if this is possible based on availability
Smoking
Based on local law, there is a no-smoking policy in force. Smoking outside the premises is acceptable in designated outdoor areas only.
There is a fire alarm system in operation. If this is set off by guests smoking anywhere in the premises, you will be asked to vacate immediately and forfeit any monies paid. Additionally, a deep cleaning fee of 100 us or 2000 pesos will be charged for smoking violations. This is non-negotiable.
Noise and Conduct
Please be respectful of other guests and neighbors. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or violations of local laws may result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund. Parties and events are not permitted .
Pool hours
From 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Caring for Our Environment
We are environmentally friendly. When you are not using the room, we kindly ask that you turn off electrical appliances, including the air conditioning. Thank you for your consideration.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask that you report any incidents when they occur.
We do not normally charge for minor breakages . However, we will charge you for repair or replacement if the damage or breakage is significant. Examples of significant damage include but are not limited to:
- Stains or damage to furniture, bedding, or flooring
- Broken appliances or fixtures
- Damage to walls, doors, or windows
- Missing items
Liability
We do not accept liability for any damage, loss, or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves, our employees, or contractors while acting in the course of employment.
Guests are responsible for their own travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance.
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, power outages, civil unrest, or government restrictions.
Guest Responsibilities
By booking with us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about all guests staying at the property
- Comply with all local laws and regulations
- Secure the property when leaving (lock doors and windows)
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately
- Leave the property in reasonably clean condition
- Not sublet or assign your reservation to others
Privacy Policy
We collect personal information necessary to process your reservation, including name, contact information, and payment details. This information is used solely for:
- Processing and confirming your reservation
- Communicating with you about your stay
- Complying with legal and tax obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:
- Payment processors necessary to complete transactions
- As required by law or legal process
With your permission, we may contact you about promotions and offers. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time

Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will apply to bookings made after the modification date. Guests will be notified of any material changes.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of jurisdiction Zihuatanejo. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state of Guerrero.
